Camber Sands - is covered in fine, golden sand, and is a large beach too plenty of room for all the family fun and games. As the tide drops out it becomes even bigger with swathes of wet sand revealed - just the sort for making sandcastles. This beach is largely unspoilt but remains close to shops and attractions.
Hastings Beach does have expanses of sand, especially at low tide. A great family beach with deck chairs are available for hire and an array of cafes, restaurants and attractions Hastings beach and seafront is fun for the whole family.
The mile long sand and shingle beach at Littlehampton is everything you would expect. With a promenade, amusements, theme park and great for making sand castles.
Goring Beach is a long stretch of pebbles and shingle separated by wooden groynes mark the high tide mark. Behind the beach is a small cafe. It’s a short walk into the town centre where you will find shops, cafes and a train station.
Worthing Beach is a sand and shingle beach with most of the sandier parts being covered as the tide moves in. . Popular activities on the beach include fishing, windsurfing and swimming, although there is no lifeguard service. There is zoning for water sports.
Worthing Pier beach is part of a five-mile stretch of shingle beach. located on the eastern side of Worthing Pier, which slopes gently into the sea. At low tide an expanse of sand is exposed. Worthing Lido Entertainment Centre is nearby, on the western side of the pier. Splashpoint Leisure Centre, behind the beach. Worthing town centre is just a short walk away and has some large shops and a choice of places to eat and drink.

The beaches are located towards the southern tip of Thorney Island. You will find some long stretches of shingle and sand with the mud flats of the harbour beyond.
